Come
to GlenWood and enjoy 2012 le bourru and French onion tart
from about 15 February, subject to confirmation, as the
date is dependent on when we pick – we will tweet
exact dates to you if you follow @GlenWood_Wines.
Le bourru is
partly fermented grape juice, only available for about three
weeks during the harvest, while the juice is fermenting. During
this period, the alcohol content rises from about 3% to about
10%.
It is tradition in the Old World wine- producing countries
to celebrate the arrival of the new vintage in this way.
Come and find out what we have been missing in SA!
