Glenwood Unoaked Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2021


Grapes were picked at 20.8°B and given eight hours of skin contact before pressing to 1.4 bars of pressure. The juice was left to settle for two days before blending and fermentation. Fermentation occurred over a 10 day period and wine was left on the lees for 1 month before filtration and bottling.

A typical Bordeaux white, richly textured, well balanced and refreshing. The 56% Sauvignon blanc delivers elegant passionfruit freshness which is laced together by the richness and weight of the 44% Semillon grape. Enjoy as a refreshing aperitif or with Mediterranean style dishes and seafood.

Vintage Grapes were harvested 2 weeks later than usual due cooler climate conditions. The cooler climate resulted in wines with a natural high acidity and low pH levels.
